Information you provide
The site currently has no account system, newsletter form or on-site checkout. Purchases happen on merchant websites. If you contact the editor, your message and contact details may be used to respond.
Hosting and site visits
The site is configured for hosting through Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information, including IP addresses and traffic data, to deliver and secure the site. Processing and retention depend on the services and settings used. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Affiliate tracking
The site supports an optional Skimlinks integration. Skimlinks and participating merchants may process clicks, referring URLs, device information and purchase attribution, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Their handling of data is governed by their own policies.
Read Skimlinks’ privacy policies, including the end-user notice and available controls. Merchant checkout pages can have their own tracking, cookie choices and privacy notices.
Viator supplier information and bookings
When enabled, an embedded supplier information panel requests current listing details through Trip & Kit’s server. Supplier photographs load from Tripadvisor’s media service, which receives the image request and associated technical information. The panel does not include a booking form or request your personal travel details.
Following a Viator affiliate link takes you to Viator, where referral attribution and booking are governed by Viator’s privacy policy. The server stores short-lived product information, not traveler bookings.
Analytics
Trip & Kit currently includes no separate Google Analytics, advertising pixel or newsletter tracking integration. Google Search Console verification, when configured, adds a verification tag rather than an on-page analytics script.
Your controls
You can manage cookies through your browser and use the controls described by the relevant providers. Blocking third-party scripts or cookies can prevent affiliate attribution. Any consent requirements for a production audience need to be reflected in the deployment’s consent configuration.
